Standing Tall Bars is a songwriting project led by Rapper and Songwriter Peter Masambuku, a.k.a. PAQUE, and supported by Musician Declan Welsh.

Over 8 months, young people have been learning about writing hip hop and rap, exploring beats, creating lyrics, and recording in the studio. Working collaboratively with Peter and Declan, the young people wrote a brand new song called So So Cold. The group also learnt performance and technical skills from the musicians and team at GLA Recording Studios.

The song and music video that accompanied it were premiered at a special event during Refugee Festival 2024, and we are delighted to be able to share it with you.
