STANDING TALL GRANTS IS NOW CLOSED AND NO LONGER TAKING APPLICATIONS
Standing Tall Grants supports young people with experience as Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) in Scotland. We provide grants, employment support, and education advice in partnership with the Scottish Guardianship Service.
In collaboration with young people from the Scottish Guardianship Service we have designed a grants programme to identify opportunities, increase young people’s access and provide practical advice and support.
There are two elements to Standing Tall Grants:
EDUCATION
- Workshops with Skills Development Scotland
- One-to-one career advice and CV building
- Online resources
FINANCIAL SUPPORT
What is the criteria?
- Must have had, or currently have a Guardian
- Must be applying for funds not currently available to them from another source
Grants may be used for but are not limited to:
- Work uniform
- Tools
- Driving Lessons
- Technology
- Software
